Who knew? HRT was the only thing offered to “hysterical” women of my generation, and we were supposed to be damn grateful for it. A nurse friend told me all HRT did (as it was handled then) was postpone the symptoms for as long as you took the treatment, so I opted to just live with whatever happened. Seems I dodged a bullet there purely due to luck and stubbornness.
