Thanks so much, Sam. You’re right. It isn’t fair. Teach them about the good old double standard. In reality, any boy who sleeps with multiple partners could be called a slut, equally as any girl who does so.
The name calling is simply a control device. It’s all about who has the power and who doesn’t — those with power get to set the standards.
If, for behaving like men, we shame women with a negative consequence, then women won’t desire or aspire to the same sexual autonomy which men take for granted. Problem solved.
