Thanks for this. Loved this riff on “One Tin Soldier” — at least it began the same way, in my mind. I could hear the song quite clearly. What lovely portent. The opening perfectly set the scene for an epic quest. Though I was expecting a turn towards political satire when the king was introduced. Your ending was delightful and completely unexpected.
