I dumped my cache (don’t do this unless you have all your sites and passwords written down somewhere — and I mean ALL), I changed browsers, uninstalled and reinstalled both browsers, emailed yourfriends@medium.com several times. Got no response.

Finally, on Monday, after problem was fixed, I received two ticket notifications it had been fixed, and an email from Jonas, User Services, (from the same email address — yourfriends@…) telling me to check for links in my Spam/Trash folder, and asking if I was still having problems.

I replied. Told him I’d received the links and they had NOT worked, and said it’s good now, though, and thanks for fixing it.

That was it.

But, I never heard a peep til it was fixed. No reply, just endless non-working Sign-In links.

Once I got back in, I had to reset a few preferences, so I KNOW somebody tinkered with my account — probably some kind of reset they can do.

Maybe try sending your next email ATTN: Jonas

Couldn’t hurt.

Good luck — oh one other thing — I sent them a tweet on Twitter. Don’t know if it helps but it couldn’t hurt. Here’s a copy of the email I sent on the third day:

“Hi — it’s been two full days. I still can’t sign in to my account (username…)
Can you help me?
Cannot read, applaud, edit, write, publish, check stories or stats.
Cleared cache, updated bookmarks, rebooted computer, uninstalled and reloaded browser, used different browser.
NEED HELP PLEASE
Have emailed, and tweeted. Would appreciate response
Regards
Elle”

As I mentioned, the email didn’t get me a response, but the tweet might have been the key.

Again, good luck
