West-Coaster by birth, Northerner at heart. Favorite childhood memories: a wild ride down a frozen river behind a runaway dog-team, watching a tank roll past the front window, its gun-turret barely visible through a raging blizzard, and surviving a Force Eight storm at sea. Elle offers weekly fiction, sci-fi and fantasy short stories. She's recently begun re-imagining fairy tales, and writing dark, macabre, Steven King-style stories.

Writing as A.L. Fredine, she's completed two novels in her crime series, North Haven Mysteries, and is working on two romance novels one contemporary, one Victorian.
